By using Magic Eraser you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What the app does

Magic Eraser removes objects you select from photos you supply, using an AI image model. It edits your photo; it does not create a new scene. Results vary with the photo — complex backgrounds and large objects are harder than small ones, and no edit is guaranteed to be perfect.

Your photos, your responsibility

You confirm that, for every photo you edit:

• You own it or have the right to edit it.
• You have any consent needed from people who appear in it.
• Editing it does not break any law that applies to you.

What you must not do

• Remove watermarks, copyright notices or signatures from content you do not own.
• Alter identity documents, banknotes, official records, or anything intended to deceive or defraud.
• Create content that is sexual, hateful, harassing, or that misrepresents a real person or event in a harmful way.
• Upload content involving minors in any unlawful or sexualised way.
• Attempt to bypass credit limits, rate limits, or the safety checks built into the app, or use the service through automated means.

The app applies automated safety checks and may refuse a request. Repeated or serious misuse may result in loss of access without refund.

Magic Eraser has no feed, no gallery and no sharing between users — an edited photo goes back to the person who made it and nowhere else. If you believe the app has been used against you, write to info@asyncomp.com with as much detail as you can. We read every report, act on the ones we can act on, and remove any copy still held on our servers immediately.

Credits and subscriptions

• New users receive two free removals, once per device.
• Paid plans include a stated number of removals per period. The number is shown on the plan before you buy. There is no “unlimited” plan.
• Unused plan removals do not roll over. Your plan allowance resets at the start of each period. Removals bought separately as a credit pack are not tied to a period and stay until you use them.
• Higher-quality and higher-resolution options cost more than one removal; the cost is shown before you start.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Manage or cancel any time in your iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the current period continues.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policy — we cannot issue them directly, but tell us if something went wrong and we will help.
• If an edit fails for a technical reason, the credit is returned to you automatically.

AI-generated content

Edited areas are produced by an AI model and are an invention of that model, not a record of reality. Saved images carry metadata noting that AI made the edit. You are responsible for how you use and share the result, including labelling it where the law or a platform requires it.

Availability

We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee it will always be available or uninterrupted. Features may change or be withdrawn as the app develops.

Ownership

You keep all rights to your photos and to the edited results. We keep the rights to the app itself — its name, design, mascot and code.

Open source and fonts

Magic Eraser is built on work other people released for anyone to use, and those licences ask that we say so:

• MobileSAM — the on-device model that works out the outline of what you tapped. Licensed under the Apache License 2.0. The model files are converted to Core ML for iOS; the weights are unchanged.
• Space Grotesk, Space Mono and Righteous — the typefaces in the app, used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
• Firebase Apple SDK — Apache License 2.0.

Magic Eraser is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Google, OpenAI, Apple, or The Procter & Gamble Company. Product names used here belong to their respective owners.

Disclaimer and liability

The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of data or images. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
